PF9000 Pressure Filter Sponges should require cleaning once a month at most, if more regular cleaning is required then you may need a bigger filter for your pond, consult your local PondMAX dealer for further information. 

Indicators that your pressure filter sponges may require replacement:

• Visible degradation of sponges.
• More frequent cleaning than usual
• Quality of water is murky/dirty when returning to your pond.
